Funeral services for Sylma Nell Willis Creamer, 69, of Hopkinsville, were conducted on Tuesday, March 13, 2007, at 10 a.m., at Goodwin Funeral Home.

Rev. Kinnith Morris officiated at the services. Burial followed in Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Hopkinsville.

Mrs. Creamer died on Friday, March 9, 2007, at 3:50 p.m., at her residence.

Mrs. Creamer was born on March 3, 1938, in Todd County. She was the daughter of the late Robert Jackson and Sibyl Lack Willis.

Mrs. Creamer was a retired seamstress from Elk Brand Manufacturing; worked at the US Tobacco in Hopkinsville; was active in the Christian County Farmer’s Market; and was a member of South Union Baptist Church in Hopkinsville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John Glendal Willis and Elbert James Willis.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Charles R. “Bobby” Creamer of Hopkinsville; three sons and daughters-in-law, Charles Michael “Mike” and Allison Creamer of Clarksville, Tenn., John Philip and Chrystal Creamer of Sedalia, Mo., and David Wayne and Vicky Creamer of Hopkinsville; two brothers, Delbert Jackson Willis of Tampa, Fla., and Jimmy Darrel Willis of Drakesboro; and nine grandchildren, Christopher Jon “C.J.” Creamer, Nickolas Boyd Creamer, Christopher Aaron Taber, Brandy Michelle Taber, Jessica Nicole Creamer, Kaitlin McKenzie Creamer, Elizabeth Elaine Creamer, Jessie Ryanne Creamer, and Marti Madie Victoria Creamer.

Marilyn Morris, pianist, provided the music.

Pallbearers were Nickolas Creamer, Christopher Creamer, Alfred Mullen, John Willis, Jr., Jonathan Willis, Wilda Willis Caudle, Robin Willis Wheeler, Cindy Willis McKinney.
