Circuit Court Clerk Pam Perry is holding $123,000 worth of checks with funds from the City of Cadiz that is to be divided between 58 members of a class action suit, attorneys and Trigg County Fiscal Court following a ruling by Circuit Judge Woody Woodall last Monday.

The class action suit requested a refund of property and other taxes paid by the city as part of an illegal annexation process by the City of Cadiz nearly ten years ago.

The largest refund check will go to Dr. Jerry Hart and the Hart Estate who will collect $12,291 with Arrowhead Golf Course owner Marshall Roberts collecting $9,981.

Phillip and Lugene Sadler were awarded a total of $6,882.46.
