Rev. Hilda Bentley officiated at the services. Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery in Vincennes, Ind.
Mr. Roach died on Wednesday, January 4, 2006, at 1:35 a.m., at Hilltop Nursing Home in Kuttawa following a long illness.
Mr. Roach was born on January 18, 1924, in Vincennes, Ind. He was the son of the late Bernard and Ethel Carie Roach.
Mr. Roach was retired from Johnson Controls as a Tooling Engineering Supervisor following 35 years of service; and was a member of the Cadiz United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, his first wife, Lois Allen Roach in 1971, daughter in infancy, Kathy Roach, and two sisters, Theresa Stephenson and Selma Kiger Kixmiller preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Mary Roach of Cadiz; two sons, Ted Allen Roach of Oaktown, Ind., and David Aaron Roach of Emison, Ind.; three daughters, Beth Ann Chattin of Vincennes, Ind., Cindy Arlene DeBord of Wheatland, Ind., and Sue Mason of Cadiz; sister, Bernice Mahoney of Princeton, Ind.; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers were Ted Roach, David Roach, Fred DeBord, Gary Foote, Danny DeLoach, Ryan Chattin, and Dennis Chattin.
Honorary pallbearers were Bill Allen and Bob Cooper.
Bessie Hatten, pianist, provided the music.
King’s Funeral Home in Cadiz was in charge of all the local arrangements.
