Memorial services for Terry Hughes, 60, of Louisville, were conducted on Tuesday, April 4, 2006, at 6:30 p.m., at Arch L. Heady Westport Road Funeral Home, in Louisville, officiated by the family.

Mr. Hughes died on Saturday, April 1, 2006, at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville.

Mr. Hughes was born on September 30, 1945, in Long Beach, Calif. He was the son of Carol Hughes of Cadiz, and the late James “Pat” Hughes.

Mr. Hughes was a decorated U.S. Air Force veteran, having served during the Vietnam War; was a retired manager of manufacturing; and was a member of the Lyndon Elks Lodge.

Survivors, in addition to his mother, is his wife of 34 years, Susan Hughes; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jenny Hughes and Sam Reddick, and Jeri Hughes and Allen Grimm; a son, Kenneth Hughes of Las Vegas, Nev.; and three grandchildren.
