Our Midcats have a weeklong stay at home this week. By the time you read this, our boys will have played Todd County this past Monday. Trigg hasn’t played Todd in over seven years (I hope we won). Thursday, we will complete our district schedule with a make-up game against Crittenden County. And, lastly, our Midcats will host our first ever Trigg County Middle School Basketball Homecoming this coming Saturday. Our 8th Grade boy’s and girl’s teams will be hosting Lone Oak. The first game will start approximately at 11:00 am, with the second game starting around 12:30. Between the games, there will be the crowning of the homecoming king and queen. I feel that the whole day is going to be a lot of fun.
Our Midcats would like to thank everyone involved with our basketball programs. We would like to thank everyone involved in making sure that our buses are on time, that we depart on time and that we arrive at our destination on time. We would also like to thank our 3 – Point Club for the nourishment they provide our boys before every road game. And, of course, we can’t forget our wonderful administration, faculty and staff who have made my job as head coach a complete breeze. Thank you all for all that you do for us. GO MIDCATS!!!
