Rev. Mark Choate officiated at the services. Burial followed in Trigg Memory Acres in Cadiz, with Military Rites.
Mr. Knight died on Wednesday morning, May 21, 2008, at Cundiff Farms as a result of a farming accident.
Mr. Knight was born on November 8, 1959, in Christian County. He was the son of the late George Cecil and Lena Garrett Knight.
Mr. Knight was a member of New Light Baptist Church; was a farmer for Cundiff Farms; and was a U.S. Army National Guard veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Dale Knight.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Skinner Knight of Cadiz; a son, Thomas Skinner of Cadiz; two daughters, Catherine Skinner Tyler and Angel Skinner Wallace, both of Cadiz; five brothers, George Knight of Nebo, Eddie Knight of Florida, and Paul Knight, Larry Knight, and Floyd Knight, all of Cadiz; four sisters, JoAnn Stewart, Phyllis Edmonson, and Martha Crump, all of Cadiz, and Louise Lofton of Paducah; and four grandchildren, Brittny Tyler, Dale Tyler, Maela Skinner, and Noah Wallace, all of Cadiz.
Clarissa King, pianist, Linda Reason, soloist, and Joan Bruce, instrumentalist provided the music.
Serving as pallbearers were Rickie Skinner, Cecil Edmonson, Ricky Skinner, Eddie Skinner, Matthew Skinner, Shane Knight, Jonathan Eaves, Wayne Crump, Marc Wallace, and Steve Tyler.
