The Rev. Wayne McReynolds officiated at the services. Burial followed in the Ky. Veteran Cemetery West.
Mr. O’Hara died at 8:05 p.m. Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.
Mr. O’Hara was born July 7, 1926 in Trigg County. He was the son of the late Nevel Bearton and Lithia Sholar O’Hara.
Mr. O’Hara was a press operator at Johnson Controls. He was a WWII Veteran. He was a member of Porter’s Chapel C.M.E. in Gracey where he was a (Past) Steward.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Helen Francis O’Hara.
Survivors include two sons; Thomas Eugene O’Hara, Jr. city, Timothy J. O’Hara, Paducah, three daughters; Scarlett Wharton, Cadiz, Desia Jean Grimes, Cadiz, Dorothea O’Hara Jones, Cadiz, one sister, Mattie O’Hara Rippy, Clarksville, Tenn., nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
