Funeral services for Mr. Thomas R. Perry 75, of Cadiz, were conducted on Tuesday, June 26, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home.

Rev. Richard Sexton officiated at the service. Burial followed at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery, in Cadiz.

Mr. Perry died on Saturday, June 23, 2007 at 12:30 p.m. at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville of natural causes.

Mr. Perry was born on Monday, February 22, 1932, in South Side, TN. He was the son of the late David Reynolds and Nannie Claire (Reynolds) Perry.

Mr. Perry was a retired Chef from Lake Barkley State Resort Park and was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. He was a US Air Force Korean Conflict Veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Marshall Perry and E.C. Perry, three sisters, Dixie Johnson, Beulah Hampton and Ruby Lee Perry.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Erika (Scheidt) Perry of Cadiz, son, Tommy Ray Perry, Sr. of Dallas,TX, two sons and daughters-in-law, Tim K. and Donna Perry of Cadiz, Tony and Shelia Perry of Nashville TN, one brother, Joe Perry of Mt Juliet, TN, four sisters, Pauline Sutton of Nashville, TN, Elizabeth Neese of Shelbyville, TN, Henrietta Glidwell of Nashville, TN, Jennie Garrett of Oregon, three grandchildren, Keith Perry, Ricky Perry and Tommy Ray Perry, Jr.

Serving as pallbearers were Tim K. Perry, Tommy Ray Perry, Jr., Tommy Ray Perry, Sr., Tony Perry and Joe Cotton.

Music was provided by Carolyn Stallons, Pianist.
