Funeral services for Anthony “Tony” Lane 56, Cadiz, were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at King’s Funeral Home.

The Revs. Bob McIntosh and James Shuck officiated the services. Burial followed in Siloam Cemetery in Trigg County.

Mr. Lane died of natural causesat 10:30 a.m. Sunday, April 11, 2010 at his residence.

Mr. Lane was born September 25, 1953 in Hopkinsville. He was the son of the late Frank S. Lane Sr. and Lola Mae Bush Lane.

Mr. Lane was a coal miner. He was a member of the Altonia Baptist Church in Calvert City.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer and David Parsons of Danville and Nicole and Cole Bybee of Cadiz; one sister and brother-in-law, Anna and Donny Allen of Cadiz; five grandchildren, Aaron Parsons of Danville, Brandon Parsons of Danville, David Michael Parsons of Danville, Addison Bybee of Cadiz and Lane Bybee of Cadiz.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Michael Lane, Frankie Lane and Gary Lane.

Serving as pallbearers were James Adams, Jr., Steve Boyd, Herschel Boyd Sr., Mike Lane, Kenny Allen and Matt Lane.

Clarissa King, pianist, provided the music.
