The Trigg County Civil War Days is scheduled this year from Friday, March 18, to Sunday, March 20.

If it weren’t for The wonderful people of our town--merchants, business partners, city & county officials, parents, students, neighbors, first responders, residents, and friends Trigg County Civil War Days would not be possible.

The Civil War Days committee recognizes the generosity of those who have donated their time, interest, and/or money to this educational & entertaining event

without the generosity and profound interest in history on the part of the reenactors, this event would not be possible. We want you to feel at home in Cadiz, Kentucky—whatever you need, please let us know. If we can do it better, our hearts are open to listen. If we have done it right, please let us know. We celebrate the moment when the cannons are fired to launch the first battle. If you need anything during your stay, stop by any merchant and we will take care of you! You have become part of the fabric of our town and of this annual experience!

The HistoryMobile will be in West Cadiz Park Friday and Saturday of the event .

The Kentucky Historical Society’s HistoryMobile is a mobile museum featuring exhibits on Kentucky history. The 300 square-foot exhibit is housed in a 45 foot tractor-trailer. Since 1973, this program has presented a wide variety of exhibits on Kentucky history to at least one million Kentuckians, half of which have been students.

The current HistoryMobile exhibit, “Kentucky’s Abraham Lincoln,” explores Lincoln’s frontier childhood, his career from log house to the White House and his struggles to end slavery and lead the nation through the Civil War. The exhibit contains artifacts and images as well as audio, video and interactive elements to appeal to a variety of learners.
