The Trigg County FFA Chapter has two students very busy this summer getting prepared for a fair. They are Ethan and Macy Taylor both from Trigg County. They are getting their animals ready for a petting zoo in Hopkinsville.

The Western Kentucky Fair will be held July 4-11, and the Taylor family will have animals on display that week in the big barn behind the grandstand.

The brother-and-sister duo has been clipping goat hair to sheep’s wool. The animals must look their best and be ready for a health check and then ready to go to town July 4.

Ethan and Macy want to invite all their friends to come and visit their petting zoo. It’s free and bring your camera for great photos. Animals that you might see are a Zebu cow from Herndon’s farm in Cadiz, llamas, rabbits, piglets, ducks, sheep, goats, mini horses and mini donkey.

So mark your calendar and come and see these two hard-working FFA students and their petting zoo.
