Trigg splits at Murray

MURRAY – Trigg County split a three-team match Thursday at Oaks Country Club.

The Wildcats shot a team score of 174, better than Carlisle County (202) and 16 shots behind host Murray.

Wildcat senior Josh Lowe shot an even-par 36 to lead all players. Other Trigg players included Caleb Bush (45), Ryan Russell (46), Trent Parrent (46), Cole Gardner (46), Derek Rogers (46) and Nick Choate (47).

For the Lady Wildcats, Madison Chaney shot a 46, Karli Bush shot a 48 and Sierra Bush shot 49.

Trigg was scheduled to host Todd Central and Livingston Central on Tuesday at Boots Randolph Golf Course (results unavailable at press time).

Trigg will then host Caldwell County, Hopkinsville and Mayfield on Thursday and play Tuesday at Mayfield Country Club against the Cardinals and Marshall County.
