Heritage Bank is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2009 Heritage Bank Scholarship Fund. The scholarships are awarded to students across western Kentucky and Tennessee. Over a six year period Heritage Bank has committed over $118,000 in scholarship funds to high school seniors planning to attend a higher education institution. This unprecedented effort is one of the largest of its kind, touching more than twenty-eight schools across western Kentucky and Tennessee. Every high school senior enrolled in each of the bank’s market communities had the opportunity to apply for one of the scholarship awards. Two seniors from Trigg County High School will receive a Heritage Bank Scholarship in honor of Mr. Alan Baker’s past service to the Trigg County School System. The following is a listing of the students from the Trigg County area receiving the 2009 Heritage Bank Scholarship.

Trigg County High School: Morgan Alexander, Morgan Snyder.

In honor of the students receiving the scholarship award, Heritage Bank hosted a banquet at the James E. Bruce Convention Center in Hopkinsville, Kentucky on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 for the 2009 recipients, Heritage Bank Scholarship honorees, school administrators, and other special guests. Heritage Bank applauds the hard work necessary to receive a high school diploma and wishes each student the best of luck in their future educational endeavors.
