$20 would give a perspective owner a chance to win the feline-like 2-wheeler. Trigg County Schools Director of Operations Matt Ladd said that business had been brisk, though when asked how many tickets were in the large orange box, he replied, “I’d hate to guess. We’ve done all right though. The community supports us.”
The motorcycle was located and acquired with the assistance of LaNell and David Bell of Cadiz. Mrs. Bell is a former teacher and her husband is a former soda distributor, and motorcycle enthusiast.
“Rotary helped us purchase the bike. Our plan is to pay them back for their contribution, and keep the rest to purchase what we need,” Ladd said, referring to the plan for the Dell LCD projectors.
The projectors are needed to display computer lessons and PowerPoint presentations on a screen for the class to learn more about computer applications, programming and audio-video productions.
