Two Cadiz men arrested in Alabama on drug charges

The Lauderdale County Drug Task Force arrested two Kentucky men on drug charges.

Myron Crunk, director of the Lauderdale County Drug Task Force, said the arrests were made Monday night in the parking lot of a local motel.

The two men were identified as Derrick L. Goodloe, 20, 119 Martindale St., Cadiz, Ky., and James Randolph Crenshaw, 21, 41 Candy Lane, also of Cadiz.

Goodloe was charged with first-degree possession of marijuana, carrying a pistol without a permit and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Crenshaw was charged with carrying a pistol without a permit, first-degree possession of marijuana, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and second-degree promoting prison contraband. Crunk said a small amount of marijuana was found in his possession when he was booked in at the Lauderdale County Detention Center.
