Memorial services for Venus Mullennix Broemmer, 49, of Cadiz, were held Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at the Wallonia Christian Church. The Rev. Richard Bates officiated.

Mrs. Broemmer died of natural causes at 1:50 p.m. Monday, December 20, 2010 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.

She was born March 10, 1961 in New Mexico to Vern Ivan Mullennix and Delores Rose Marlowe of Cadiz.

She was self- employed working in advertising.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Broemmer; one brother, Jimmy Mullennix; two sisters, Roxanne Rogers and Margaret Mullennix; and step-mother Mary Mullennix.

Survivors include her parents, Vern Ivan Mullennix and Delores Rose Marlowe; two brothers, Michael Mullennix of West Bend, Wis., and Jay Melfi of Huntington Beach, Calif.; six sisters, Linda Adams of Wallonia, Deanna Ercoli of Florida, Phyllis Dolan of Round Lake, Ill., Leslee Bass of Hazel Crest, Ill., Dorenna Meyers of Thersa, Wisc., and Debbie Cooper of Murphysboro, Ill.; four daughters, Lea Souza of Patterson, Calif., Erica Greer of Savannah, Ga., Tanya Cramer of Clarksville, Tenn., and Tracy Juechter of Murray; and six grandchildren, Joseph Godair, Madeline Souza, Ava Souza, Ethan Greer, Jordyn Greer and Charlotte Cramer.
