Funeral services for Virginia “Gincy” Dunbar, 72, of Princeton, were conducted on Friday, February 17, 2006, at 1 p.m., at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.

Rev. James Bush, assisted by Rev. Gary Hollingsworth, officiated at the services. Burial followed in Rock Springs Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Dunbar died on Tuesday, February 14, 2006, at 6:30 a.m., at Caldwell County Hospital following a short illness.

Mrs. Dunbar was born on August 5, 1933, in Caldwell County. She was the daughter of the late J.B. and Iva Mae Scott Lewis.

Mrs. Dunbar was the Director of Medical Records at the Princeton Health Care Manor; and a member of Rock Springs United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Junior Dunbar of Princeton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Nicky and Pam Dunbar, and Benjie and Kelly Dunbar, all of Caldwell County; three grandchildren, Nichelle Dunbar, Kara Dunbar, and Sydney Dunbar; two sisters, Betty Martin of Princeton, and Frances Moreland of Caldwell County; and several nieces.
