Funeral services for Virginia Arbutus Bright Shuck, 78, of Anderson, Ind., were conducted on Saturday, January 27, 2007, at 10 a.m., at Robert Loose Funeral Home in Anderson.

Revs. Peavey and Shuck officiated at the services. Burial followed in Maplewood Cemetery in Anderson, Ind.

Memorial Services will be held at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz, at 2 p.m., on Sunday, February 4, 2007.

Mrs. Shuck died on Wednesday, January 24, 2007, at 1 p.m., at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville of natural causes.

Mrs. Shuck was born on August 29, 1928, in Summitville, Ind. She was the daughter of the late Cecil and Dorothy McPherson Bright.

Mrs. Shuck was a housewife, and was a member of Wesleyan Church in Anderson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren in infancy.

Survivors include her husband, James Jay Shuck of Cadiz; three sons, Rev. James Shuck of Cadiz, Jay Shuck of Vancleve, and John Shuck of Bunkerhill, Ind.; a brother, Larry Bright of Anderson, Ind.; two sisters, Grace Key of North Vernon, Ind., and Shirley Ebbert of Elizabethtown; eight grandchildren, Brian Shuck, Brad Shuck, Jason Shuck, Scottie Shuck, Teresa Shuck, Alissa Shuck, Adam Shuck, and Austin Shuck; and 10 great-grandchildren.
