Private memorial services for Warren Bruce Williams, 85, of Henderson, were held Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at the Methodist Hospital Chapel in Henderson. King’s Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Dr. Hollis Marshal officiated at the service.

Mr. Williams died of natural causes at 12:40 p.m. Monday, March 22, 2010 at Lucy Smith King Hospice Center in Henderson.

Mr. Williams was born January 19, 1925, in Dixon. He was the son of the late Ellis and Ethel Bruce Williams.

He taught Industrial Arts at Henderson City High and retired in management from PBS Chemical Company in Henderson. He was a US Marine Veteran, serving during World War II, and a graduate of Western Kentucky University and had been involved with the Coast Guard Auxiliary.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Peggy June Williams of Henderson; two daughters and son-in-law, Terry and Mac Arnold of Henderson and Marsha Ray of Henderson; two sisters, Betty Hicks of Cadiz and Judy Woosley, Bowling Green; three granddaughters and sons-in-law, Tara Mayfield of Henderson, Katie and Sam Guant of Louisville and Abbie and Ben Grove of Henderson; and five great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, David Williams.
