Revs. Michael Lloyd and Tony Carson officiated at the services. Burial followed at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery, in Trigg County.
Mr. Neighborgall died on Friday, July 13, 2007, at 7:55 p.m. at the Trigg County Hospital in Cadiz, of unexpected natural causes.
Mr. Neighborgall was born on Saturday, May 11, 1929, in Madison Co., Ohio. He was the son of the late George Wesley and Emma (Price) Neighborgall.
Mr. Neighborgall was retired from Johnson Controls where he was an engineer. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was a member of Buffalo Lick Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary F. “Frankie” Neighborgall.
Survivors include his wife JoAnn (Hewell) Neighborgall of Gracey, one son and daughter-in-law, David and Sarah Neighborgall of Cadiz, one daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Leslie Hancock, of Cadiz, one daughter, Ruth Harmon, of Hopkinsville, three stepsons and daughters-in-law, Keith and Faith Cox, Cadiz, James Bryan and LaNita Cox, Taylorsville, IL, Tommy Cox, Hopkinsville, one brother, Bill Neighborgall, of Columbus, Ohio, three sisters, Georgeann Shepard of Plain City, Ohio, Juanita Bice of Carsville, GA, Mary Blyth of Florence, three grandchildren, Josh and Monica Hancock, Wesley Harmon, five step grandchildren, Joey Cox, Joshua Cox, Kimberly Cox, Kelsi Cox, Kallie Cox, two great grandchildren, Alex Hancock and August Hancock.
Serving, as pallbearers were George Humphries, Bill Mize, Wayne Hewell, Carl Ray Miller, Roy Douget and Nick Edmonson.
Peggy Hendricks, Organist provided the music.
