Bill Devere Whisler, Sr., and Helen Louise Padavich were married in Unionville, Iowa, on October 26, 1947.
The couple has two sons and daughter-in-law, Bill D. Whisler, Jr., of Lake City, Fla., and Phillip M. and Yan Whisler of Gainesville, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
