Dennis and Jessica Whitten of Cadiz are proud to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Brandi Whitten, to Ben Hertik, son of John and Terri Bozeman of Cadiz and Philip Hertik of Nashville, Tenn.

Grandmother of the bride-elect was the late Betty Gaetano of Cadiz.

Grandparents of the groom are Bob and Ida Ackermann of Summerfield, Fla., and the late Lanier and Jane Woodward of Cadiz.

The bride-elect graduated from Trigg County High School, and is employed by Audubon Preschool in Trigg County.

Her fiancé graduated from Brentwood High School in Brentwood, Tenn., and is a 2005 graduate of Hopkinsville Community College. He is employed by DSI, Inc. in Hopkinsville.

The wedding is scheduled for Saturday, April 8, 2006, at 4 p.m., at the Canton Baptist Church in Trigg County.

All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
