The Wildcats came in looking for a second victory after being beat Saturday by Madisonville 14-8. Coach Sholar sent Donald Bush to the mound to face off against Murray High pitcher Roman Kelly.

Bush picked up the loss pitching 6 innings giving up 7 runs and in the Wildcats fourth loss of the season.

The Wildcats offense came in the fourth inning with two runs drove in by a Will Stagner double and an errant throw to third base by the Tigers. Kelly held the Wildcat batters to only two hits, and striking out six Wildcat batters. The Wildcats brought in Tyler Greenman to pitch the seventh inning he gave up one run on two hits in relief.

Trigg County Head Coach Jackie Sholar was looking for and got some offense , but Madisonville had more as the Maroons beat the Wildcats 14-8 Saturday evening in Madisonville. It was the first game in over a week for the Wildcats, who saw their previous six games postponed because of the weather.
