Trigg County’s leading scorers in the seventh grade game were Luke McKenzie (11 points), Cole Gardner (nine points), Kullen Garner (seven points) and Corbin Estes (six points).
The Trigg County Eighth Grade team fell to a tough Hopkinsville team. In the eighth-grade game, Hopkinsville pulled out a 59 -50.
“Our team showed heart to the very last second of the game,” said Trigg County Coach Scott Morton.
Trigg County’s leading scorers in the eighth grade game were DeOnquez Nance (17 points), Jordan Davis (eight points), Austin Durham (seven points), Travis Desrochers (seven points), Cole Gardner (six points) and David Wease (five points).
“Due to miscommunication, the Crittenden County game, that was supposed to be played this past Monday, will be played at a later date,” Morton confided. “Our TCMS boys’ basketball teams would like to thank the community of Cadiz in helping our basketball program.”
