The Wildcats claimed eight first place finishes and totaled 167 points in the 11-team event. Mayfield (86.5) was second, and Murray (70) was third.
Jeremy Jones, who set a school record earlier in the week by clearing 6-feet, 5-inches in the high jump, won the event at Murray with a height of six feet.
Jones also took second place in the long jump at 20-feet, 9-inches.
Scott Mayes won the 200-meter dash in a time of 23.41 seconds, edging second place Frank Russell by a nose.
Mayes also won the long jump with a distance of 21-feet, 10-inches.
Stephon Smithers won the triple jump with a distance of 38-feet, 10-inches and was second in the high jump at 5-feet, 10-inches.
Dennis Acree won the 400-meter run in a time of 51.87 seconds and was sixth in the 100-meter dash in 11.77 seconds.
Aaron Acree won the 300-meter hurdles in a time of 46.43 seconds and was third in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 17.72 seconds.
Dane Bolton finished second in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 17.36 seconds and was third in the 300-meter hurdles in 47.78 seconds.
Rozelle Boyd was third in the triple jump with a leap of 38-feet, 3-inches.
Steven Wadlington was second in the discus throw at 146 feet.
Frank Russell finished fourth in the 100-meter dash in 11.39 seconds.
Greg Acree finished third in the 400-meter run in a time of 53.46 seconds.
Taylor McGee finished fourth in the shot put with a toss of 42-feet, 4-inches.
Barron Adams was tenth in the 800-meter run in 2:24.
Trigg County’s 400-meter relay team won in a time of 44.53 seconds, but the 800-meter relay team suffered their first loss of the season, finishing tied for second in 1:35, about three-quarters of a second behind first place Mayfield.
The 1600-meter relay team won easily by ten seconds, crossing the finish line with a time of 3:36.
On the girls’ side, Trigg County posted a respectable third place finish with 77 points, trailing only Mayfield (91) and Fulton County (80).
Janada Acree came in fourth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 28.37 seconds and was fifth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.69 seconds.
Melanie Want finished second in the long jump at 15-feet, 4-inches. She also finished sixth in the high jump at 4-feet, 4-inches.
Laquisha Boyd finished second in the shot put with a heave of 27-feet, 9-inches.
Crystal Bacon came in second in the discus throw with a distance of 81-feet, 7-inches. She was also fourth in the shot put with a toss of 26 feet.
Lanika Mayes finished fifth in the 400-meter run in a time of 1:06. Mayes also finished seventh in the 100-meter dash in 14.38 seconds.
Taylor Bryant was fourth in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 19.45 seconds.
Latoshia Woods was fifth in the discus throw at 74-feet, 3-inches.
Annie Woods finished seventh in the 110-meter hurdles in a time of 20.25 seconds.
Brittany Rexing finished tenth in the 800-meter run but no time was available.
Trigg County’s 400-meter relay team finished second in a time of 54.60 seconds, and the 1600-meter relay team also finished second with a time of 4:43.
Trigg County’s 3200-meter relay team was fifth with a time of 13:22, while the 800-meter relay team was eighth in 2:01.
Both Trigg County teams will participate in the Class A, Region I Track Meet Thursday and Saturday at Murray State University.
