Rev. O.D. Boyd officiated at the services. Burial followed at the House Cemetery in Linton, Ky.
Mr. Allen died on Thursday, June 12, 2008, at 2:10 a.m., at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, of natural causes.
Mr. Allen was born on March 28, 1934, in Trigg County. He was the son of the late Bud Thomas and Mallie Pearl Allen Allen.
Mr. Allen was disabled. He was a member of the Pentecostal Faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mavis Allen.
Survivors include a brother, Lacy Ray Allen of Cadiz; and a sister, Mary Birdsong of Cadiz.
