Funeral services for William Paul Oakley, 59, of Gibraltar, Mich., were conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 2, 2009 at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, Bloomfield Hills, Mich. A.J. Desmond and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Oakley died October 29, 2009. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen for 17 years. Loving brother of Donald and wife Robin of Cadiz, and Timothy and wife Donna. Dear stepfather of Jeffery Burns and wife Jennifer and step grandfather of Riley and Addison. Son-in-law of pat Ratliff. Brother-in-law of Sheryl Swiderski and fiancé? Steven Fitch, Laura Ayers and husband Bob and Jay Ratliff. Uncle of Michael, Rene (Erich), Bryan, Brietta, Collin, Les, Christie and Michael. Great uncle of Ayden.
