Funeral services for William Robert “Bob” Luttrell, 85, of Cadiz, were conducted on Thursday, January 5, 2006, at 2 p.m., at Goodwin Funeral Home.

Rev. Irvin Darnall officiated at the services. Burial followed in the Fuller Cemetery in Trigg County.

Mr. Luttrell died on Tuesday, January 3, 2006, at 12:55 a.m., at Trigg County Hospital of natural causes.

Mr. Luttrell was born on February 23, 1920, in Trigg County. He was the son of the late Andrew Jackson and Sally Alice Atkins Luttrell.

Mr. Luttrell was self-employed as a Woodworker; was a Ky. Colonel; and was a member of Donaldson Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Selena Mae Sigler Luttrell; son, Robert Earl Luttrell; brother, Jackson Luttrell; and seven sisters, Naomi Hardrick, Mattie Sigler, Bertie Darnell, Bessie Lowery, Willie Haddock, Ivy Logan, and Ruth Byrd.

Survivors include three daughters, Dottie Jean Ghormley of Cadiz, JoAnne Meadows of Henderson, and Debra Bennett of Nashville, Tenn.; six grandchildren, Jess Cates, Larry Cates, Kimberly Raber, Jimmy Meadows, Pam Bullock, and Rob Bennett; six great-grandchildren, Jonathon Cates, Cory Bullock, Dalton Bullock, Jacob Meadows, Abigail Meadows, and Jackson Bennett.

Martha Fortner, organist, provided the music.

Serving as pallbearers were Rob Bennett, Jimmy Meadows, Pat Smith, Jonathan Johnson, Cory Bullock, and Jerry Morris.
