Trigg County student Dylan Proffitt of Gracey competed in the Grand National Cross Country race Nov. 3-4 at Loretta Lynn’s Dude Ranch in Waverly, Tenn. Clutch problems left Proffitt in 23rd that day, but he finished the season in fifth place in the Bike Youth 65 (7-9) class. Dylan will begin the 2013 season in March at Bike Week in Florida. </i>
