VYRON MITCHELL
General Manager, Editor A veteran newspaper publisher and editor, Vyron has been with The Cadiz Record since the fall of 1999. He has worked for newspapers in Murray and Fulton, Kentucky, Oklahoma, and Florida and owned a weekly newspaper in Newbern, Tennessee prior to moving to Cadiz. He has worked in the newspaper industry since first making deliveries at a family owned newspaper in Fulton, Kentucky. CYNTHIA L. MITCHELL
Advertising Manager, Account Executive Cynthia is in charge of all retail display and classified advertising in each week's edition. She coordinates the special sections published by The Cadiz Record each year as well as the weekly advertising orders. She has been involved in the weekly newspaper business for more than 30 years as account executive, manager and bookkeeper for more than 30 years. She was part owner of The Dyer County Tennessean prior to its sale in 1996. Under her direction the advertising department has been recognized on several occasions by the Kentucky Press Association. MICHELLE BEUCLER
Bookkeeper
Michelle is responsible for keeping financial records at The Cadiz Record including accounts receivable and accounts payable. She is also responsible for records involved with classified advertising, circulation and other business areas. BECKY BOGGESS
Account Executive
Becky services advertising accounts in Trigg, Christian and Caldwell County as well as Clarksville, Tennessee. She has been in the advertising sales for the Cadiz Record since 1994. Prior to that she and her late husband were owners of a Chevrolet franchise in Cadiz. An active volunteer for community activities Becky works at the Art Museum and the John L. Street Library Annex. DOROTHY DANNELLY
Composing
Dorothy started with The Cadiz Record in January 2005 and is responsible for composing many of the advertisements in the newspaper. She is a native of Christian County and graduated from Christian County High School in 1983. Dorothy is a member of New Work Fellowship Church. She has also been working in the newspaper business for the better part of a decade. She recently gave birth to twins, a girl and boy. ddannelly@cadizrecord.com
ALAN REED
Reporter
Alan Reed, comes to The Cadiz Record from Tampa Bay, Florida where he conducted Internet research for an accounting firm. Born in Ohio, Alan spent the majority of his life in Corpus Christi, Texas before heading east to study biology at the University of Tampa. There he served as music director or the school’s AM station WUTZ. Alan’s life was forever altered after a summer in Canada — he went there a boy, but returned a rabid hockey fan. MICHAEL STANLEY
Sports Editor
Michael Stanley comes to The Cadiz Record from Orleans, Indiana. As sports editor he will is in charge of the newspaper’s sports section and brings with him an extensive background in the sports field. Michael has long been a fan of the University of Kentucky and is a true high school sports addict. His main duties at the newspaper will be to expand and improve on a sports section that is widely read by subscribers that demand only the best. RUSSELL MOSER
Circulation and Delivery
Russel, along with his wife Lois, make sure The Cadiz Record reaches its nearly 5,000 subscribers each week. He is responsible for transportation of the final product from the printing plant in Paducah to the post office in Cadiz. He also delivers copies of the paper to a large number of dealers and vendor racks throughout the Trigg County area.
