Funeral services for Rose Lovely, 76, of Cadiz, were held Friday, June 17, 2011 at Hall Funeral Home in Martin. The Rev. Richard Sexton officiated. Burial followed in the Davidson Memorial Garden in Martin. Goodwin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lovely died of natural causes at 5:05 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2011 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.

She was born February 25, 1935 in Canton to the late Johnny and Cynthia Hale Dove.

Mrs. Lovely was a member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in Cadiz. She retired from Lake Barkley State Resort Park, where she worked as a clerk with 22 years of service in the park system.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Margie Yates and Ruby Joseph.

Survivors include her husband, Mark A. Lovely of Cadiz; one brother, Paul Dove (and wife Lynn) of Martin; one half brother, Bob Salyers (and wife Lucille) of Venus, Fla.; two sons, Mark S. Lovely (and wife Teresa) of Cadiz and Sean Lovely (and wife Cindy) of Smyrna, Tenn.; one brother-in-law, Jack Lovely (and wife Carol) of Knoxville, Tenn.; one sister-in-law, Loveda Coburn of Garrett; three grandchildren, Maxwell Lovely, Katherine Rose Lovely and Griffin Lovely; one step grandson, Jeremiah Johnson; one niece, Earlena Bayes (and husband Jimmy) of Cadiz.
