Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Erline Pace, 79, of Oak Grove, were held Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at Salem Baptist Church in Christian County. The Rev. Jimmy Stewart officiated. Burial followed in the Rosedale Cemetery in Pembroke. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home in Hopkinsville was in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Pace died of natural causes at 3 a.m. Sunday, June 19, 2011 at her daughter’s residence in Pembroke.

She was born August 26, 1931 in Pembroke to the late Thomas Isaac and Pearl Tabor Waldrop. She was a homemaker and a member of the Salem Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, John Waldrop and Preston Waldrop.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Fagan Pace Sr.; one brother, Harry C. Waldrop of Pembroke; one son, Fagan Pace Jr. of Hopkinsville; two daughters, Faye Pace Poppens of Cadiz and Mona Pace Bolinger of Pembroke; six grandchildren, Sarah Borenstein, Emily and Alan Poppens, Bradley, Kyle, and Lucas Bolinger; and one great grandson, Henry Borenstein.
