More than 35 handcrafted pieces make up the show ranging from miniatures to full-sized quilts. Most of the artists will attend the opening reception on June 24 from 6 – 8 p.m. Local author of “Images of America: Trigg County” Thomas Harper will also hold a short discussion and book signing during the reception.
Member’s Corner during this exhibit holds a stained-glass “quilt” by the Artisan Glass Guild of western Kentucky with each piece based on the traditional bowtie quilt pattern.
This Exhibit will be displayed through Aug. 7. The Janice Mason Art Museum is open Tuesdays – Saturdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays 1 – 4 p.m. Evening hours can be arranged for group tours. Admission is free; donations are greatly appreciated.
