Two of the three playwrights of Twilight Theatre Productions’ Three Original Plays in One Evening plan to travel from New York for the opening night performance at Kenlake State Resort Park.

Both Chan Chandler, who wrote “Hills Like White Elephants” and Steve Adams who authored “Cheez Doodles,” are excited to see their works performed for the first time. The third, Tom Cavanaugh, also of New York, hopes to make a later performance of his “The Circus Still Comes to Town” during this initial run.

Rehearsals are well underway as the company of three prepares for its summer dinner theater season. Directed by Charles Edward Hall of New York’s Radio City and produced by Shirley Teach Johnson, Three Original Plays in One Evening will be performed Friday and Saturday evenings June 24 – July 30.

Dinner is artfully prepared by Kenlake’s Chef Bob Engleman and begins at 6:30 p.m.; show begins at 8 p.m. Reservations are required and should be made by Wednesday preceding the show. For more information or to make reservations, call 270-436-2399.
