Mrs. Stallons died of natural causes at 6:40 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2011 at the home of her daughter in Hopkinsville.
She was born October 21, 1913 in Trigg County to the late Starkie Emerson Bridges and Elizabeth “Lizzie” Wallis Bridges.
She was a homemaker and a member of Liberty Point Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Rogers Stallons; four brothers, Roy Bridges, Jesse Bridges, Ira Thomas Bridges and Homer Bridges; four sisters, Johnnie Coleman, Mary Stallons, Myrtle Williams and Julia Bridges; and two sons, Glenn Stallons and Billy Rogers Stallons.
Survivors include one daughter, Dorothy “Dot” Hunter of Hopkinsville; one grandson, Roger Hunter (and wife Tamara) of Hopkinsville; one granddaughter, Dianne Cato (and husband Tim) of Hopkinsville; and three great grandsons, Jeremy Hunter, Jarrod Cato and Chad Cato.
Pallbearers were Stanley Bridges, Conrad Martin, Ed Stallons, Chad Cato, Jarrod Cato and Scott Bridges.
