Mr. Reddick died of natural causes at 9:15 a.m. Monday, July 4, 2011 at his home.
Johnnie was born April 5, 1938 in Cadiz to the late Robert Dennis Reddick and Edna Hall King.
He was a United States Army veteran having served in Vietnam. He retired from the Kentucky State Highway Department and was of the Baptist faith. He had a lifetime hobby and love for rebuilding and restoring hot rod cars.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, J. D. King; and one brother, Donnie Jay King.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Doris Reddick of Cadiz; two sisters, Bonnie Humphries of Cadiz and Connie King of Hopkinsville; two sons, Dennis Reddick (and wife Debbie) of Cadiz and Danny Reddick (and wife Misty) of Cadiz; eight grandchildren, Heather Reddick, Steven Reddick, Danielle Reddick, John Kenton Reddick, Daniel Reddick, Sarah Reddick, Isaiah Reddick and Rebecca Reddick; one great-grandson, Trevor Michael Linton; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Steven Reddick, John K. Reddick, Tommy Mitchell, Tommy Adams, Josh Humphries, Daniel Reddick, Terry King, Charles Jones, Isaiah Reddick and Trevor Linton. Honorary pallbearers were Jerry Mitchell, Harvey Mitchell, Robin Morris, Stanley McKinney, Deon Fox, Barry Fox, Norris Tyler, Jr., Anthony Tyler, Randy Mitchell, Kevin Boggess and Jimmie Hampton.
