Faye Oakley, age unknown, of Cadiz was in the parking lot of the Barkley Lake Water District office when she attempted to cross the road and go into the parking lot of Dollar General Store in front of Cadiz Police Officer Scott Brown.
Brown was travelling eastbound when he swerved to avoid a collision but collided with Oakley. After hitting Oakley, Brown’s vehicle was struck by another vehicle driven by Kelly Martin, age uknown, of Cadiz.
Martin was travelling westbound on Main Street when she collided with Brown. There were no injuries in the accident. Major Duncan Wiggins responded to the scene. The Trigg County Sheriff’s Department as well as Traffic Control also responded to the scene.
