Entries will be judged on Thursday, September 23 at the County Extension office and the contest is open to all residents of Trigg County.
Appetizers and casseroles will be the two categories and each must feature the use of beef in the ingredients. Cooks may enter in both categories.
Entrants are invited to submit a serving size portion – on a non-returnable plate or dish – to the Extension office on the day of the contest between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Along with the finished product, cooks must include a copy of the recipe as well as their name and telephone number.
Winners in each category will be awarded a $25 cash prize during the Fall Farm Tour on September 23.
