Funeral services for Flossie Mae Young, 86, of Princeton, were conducted on Monday, September 27, 2004, at 2:30 p.m., at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.

Rev. Dale Ford, assisted by Rev. J.R. Bruce, officiated at the services. Burial followed in Sugar Creek Church Cemetery in Caldwell County.

Mrs. Young died on Friday, September 24, 2004, at 3:40 p.m., at Caldwell County Hospital following a long illness.

Mrs. Young was born on October 3, 1917, in Grayson County. She was the daughter of the late Tom and Idella McGregor Thomason.

Mrs. Young was retired from Arvin Industry, as an assembly line worker; and was a member of Sugar Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jewell Young; a son, Rawleigh Young in 2002; a granddaughter; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Clarence Conrad.

Survivors include four sons, Raybon Young and Jerry Young, both of Caldwell County, Louard Young of Trigg County, and Stephen Young of Princeton; five daughters, Loretta Waldrum, Joyce Jewell, and Karen Ketchey, all of Caldwell County, Judy Anglin of Princeton, and Sandra Seijo of Tampa, Fla.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
