Downtown will be closing at 3 p.m. on Thursday, October 7. Vendors will begin to set up booths at this time. The information booth will be opened at 4 p.m. Thursday. All vendors must register with the information booth before beginning to set up.
Handicapped parking will be available at Lakeland Jamboree. A handicapped assessable bathroom will be at the Renaissance Center behind Blue Moon Antiques. Hand-washing stations will be at the Renaissance Center and at the park.
Busses will be running on Friday and Saturday. One bus will run Friday and three will run on Saturday. Bus stops will be at the Masonic Lodge, The Church of Christ, Trigg County Schools parking lot, and the Senior Citizens Center behind the courthouse.
The parade will take place on Sunday. This year there are new rules that must be followed. All entries for the parade must be registered at the information booth between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Friday or Saturday. All entries must be decorated with the theme, "The Big Pig Gig." This includes all motorized entries. No children under sixteen will be allowed unless accompanied by a parent or responsible adult. No horses, mules or donkeys will be allowed. See the information booth at the ham festival to register, receive a complete set of rules and get a number, which must be displayed to enter the parade.
