Rev. Bradley Cornelius, assisted by Rev. Norman Cotton, officiated at the services. Burial followed in East End Cemetery in Cadiz.
Mr. Rogers died on Monday, September 27, 2004, at Trigg County Hospital.
Mr. Rogers was born on January 6, 1952, in Trigg County. He was the son of Alberta L. Rogers, and the late Kenneth L. Rogers, Sr.
Mr. Rogers was a farmer and a member of Liberty Point Baptist Church. He was a member of the National Spotted Saddle Horse Association, National Breeders and Exhibitors Association, and the National Tennessee Walking Horse Association.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Joey Rogers; and father-in-law, Calvin Hawkins.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, is his wife, Carolyn A. Rogers; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jason and Bethany Rogers, and Bryan and Janet Rogers, all of Trigg County; grandchildren, Derek Rogers, Erica Rogers, Addison Rogers, and Chandler Long; a brother, Kenneth Rogers, Jr. of Trigg County; three sisters, Frances Cook of Arab, Ala., Margie Vinson of Cadiz, and Ann Thomas of Evansville, Ind.; Mother-in-law, Effie Hawkins of Cadiz; and several nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers were Jerry Stroud, Greg Thomas, Sid Curtis, Harold Butts, Alton Cunningham, and Larry Rascoe.
Honorary pallbearers were Winston Perry, Craig Perry, Gary Lester, Ricky Hamilton, Mike Oakley, B.J. Hammonds, Kenneth Cherry, and Terry Hoffman.
