Rev. Darrell Eldridge will officiate at the services. Burial will follow in Merrick Cemetery in Caldwell County.
Mrs. Merrick died on Saturday, October 9, 2004, at 10:50 p.m., at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, following a short illness.
Mrs. Merrick was born on September 21, 1925, in Caldwell County. She was the daughter of the late Floyd James and Bertha Belle Hyde Wilson.
Mrs. Merrick was retired from the Princeton Hosiery Mill; and was a member of Second Baptist Church in Princeton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Earl Wilson.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Kim Merrick of Mt. Vernon, Ind.; a grandson, Brandon Merrick; a granddaughter, Cara Merrick; three brothers, Robert Wilson of Hopkinsville, Floyd Wilson, Jr. of Nortonville, and Kenneth Wilson of Slaughters; five sisters, Elizabeth Swatzell and Joan Lowery, both of Princeton, Virginia Gilbertson of Chesterton, Ind., Martha Goodaker of Gary, Ind., and Linda Moore of Hopkinsville; several nieces and nephews.
