Ricky and Angela Butts are proud to announce the birth of a son, Ty Montgomery Butts, born on August 27, 2004, at 3 p.m., at Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray.

Ty weighed 8 pounds 1 ounce and was 19-1/2 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Chuck and Judy Sevcik of Cadiz.

Maternal great-grandparents are the late Ocie Odell and Bessie Lorrene Futrell.

Paternal grandparents are James and Lou Butts of Cadiz.

Paternal great-grandparents are Ernest Sholar and the late Frances Sholar; and the late Charles and Margie Butts.
