Terry Lee McNichols officiated at the services. Burial followed in Caldwell Blue Spring Cemetery in Caldwell County.
Mr. Baker died on Thursday, October 28, 2004, at 12:35 a.m., at Trigg County Hospital of natural causes.
Mr. Baker was born on May 17, 1947, in Trigg County. He was the son of Howard Baker and the late Mary Nell Wade Baker.
Mr. Baker was a logger and farmer; former co-owner and operator of B&B Millworks; a member of the Cadiz Masonic Lodge #121, 32nd degree Mason; Rizpah Shrine Temple; and was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors, in addition to his father, is his wife, Marie Hart Baker of Cadiz; Step-mother, Gracie Baker of Cadiz; three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Baker and Mandy Slack of Westerville, Ohio, Alex and Amy Boyd Baker of Plain City, Ohio, and Curtis Baker of Lexington; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Alan and Connie Baker and Ernie and Jennifer Baker, all of Cadiz, and Ivan and Barbara Baker of Hopkinsville; one grandchild, Catharine Marie Baker; and several nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers were Paxton Baker, Collin Baker, Toby Baker, Matt Baker, Stewart Hart, Aaron Kirk, Andrew Kirk, and Reed Ginn.
