Rev. Fred Harrison, assisted by Rev. Earl Reeves, officiated at the services. Burial followed in White Oak Cemetery.
Mr. Hodges died on Saturday, December 4, 2004, at his home in Clay. He was the son of Marion "Gene" and Sarah Hodges of Providence.
Mr. Hodges was a coal miner for over 33 years, and at the present, he was Maintenance Foreman at Warrior Coal Company in Nebo; and was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Providence.
Survivors, in addition to his parents, are his wife of 32 years, Donna, of Clay; one daughter, Amy McCormic of Corydon; one son, Andy Hodges of Cadiz; one sister, Revonda Cates of Nashville, Tenn.; two brothers, Harold Smith of Providence, and Mike Hodges of Mayfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kentucky Baptist Children’s Home.
Vanover Funeral Home in Clay was in charge of all the arrangements.
