Rev. Larry Combs officiated at the services. Burial followed in Trigg Memory Acres in Cadiz.
Mrs. Vowell died on Sunday, December 26, 2004, at 2 p.m., at her residence following a long illness.
Mrs. Vowell was born on June 16, 1943, in Dyersburg, Tenn. She was the daughter of the late John Marvin and Reen Davidson Drummond.
Mrs. Vowell was a Telephone Contractor, and was of the protestant faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Drummond.
Survivors include her husband, Harrel Vowell of Gracey; a nephew, Richard and wife Monica Crain of Minot, N.D; and a sister-in-law, Helen Pritchard of Belzoni, Miss.
