Funeral services for Johnny B. Hinson, 45, of Reed, Ky., were conducted on Thursday, January 20, 2005, at 2 p.m., at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz.

Rev. Johnny Hawkins officiated at the services. Burial follow in Trigg Memory Acres.

Mr. Hinson died on Sunday, January 16, 2005, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansville, Ind., at 12:17 p.m. of natural causes.

Mr. Hinson was born on June 20, 1959, in Trigg County. He was the son of the late Hoy Hollis Hinson and Opal Jean Wilson Hinson Raper.

Mr. Hinson was a pilot for Owensboro Harbor Service, and was of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Dale Hinson.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Daphne and Jeremy Cook of Jacksonville, Fla.; two brothers, Larry "Rabbit" Hinson of Nashville, Tenn., and Tommy Hinson of Henderson, Ky.; four sisters, Connie Hawkins, Dottie Hendricks, Sandra Oliver, and Charlotte Yancey, all of Cadiz; and two grandchildren, Sabrina Cook, and Madison Cook.

Music was provided by Peggy Smith, pianist, and Debbie Reddick, vocalist.

Serving as pallbearers were Ricky Hawkins, James "Tojo" Oliver, Eugene Hinson, Eddy Hinson, J.L. Hendricks, Jr., Hollis Hendricks, Bobby Hendricks, Timmy Hendricks, and Dale Wyatt, Jr.
