Funeral services for Eva Jean Mack Pettigrew, 61, of Hopkinsville, will be conducted on Wednesday, March 30, 2005, at 1 p.m., at First Street Baptist Church in Hopkinsville.

Rev. C.E. Timberlake will officiate at the services. Burial will follow in Cave Springs Cemetery.

Mrs. Pettigrew died on Friday, March 25, 2005, at 2:58 a.m., at the Methodist Hospital in Morganfield of natural causes.

Mrs. Pettigrew was born on January 31, 1944, in Christian County. She was the daughter of the late Dan H. and Lydia Bell Taylor Mack.

Mrs. Pettigrew was a former fine wire operator at Phelps-Dodge Magnet Wire Mfg., in Hopkinsville; was a 1961 graduate of Attucks High School; and a member of First Street Baptist Church in Hopkinsville.

Survivors include her husband, Winfred B. Pettigrew of Hopkinsville; a son, Winfred J. Pettigrew of Cadiz; two daughters, Gwendolyn R. Pettigrew, and Rhonda T. Pettigrew, both of Louisville; a step-daughter, Pamela Hill of Oak Grove; two brothers, Dan A. Mack of Pembroke, and Lydell Mack of Hopkinsville; one sister, Georgia Mack Greenwell of Sturgis; and three grandchildren.

Gamble Funeral Home in Hopkinsville is in charge of all the arrangements.
