Spain and Roeder announce engagement

Ronnie and Joneil Spain of Hopkinsville, are proud to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Jennifer Spain, to John Edwin Roeder, son of Delbert and Kim Roeder, also of Hopkinsville.

Grandparents of the bride-elect are Hugh and Carolyn Thornberry, and Neil and Joan McGillivray, all of Hopkinsville.

Jennifer graduated from Hopkinsville High School in 2001, and graduated from Hopkinsville Community College in 2004. She currently attends Murray State University and is scheduled to graduate in May of 2006. She is employed at North Drive Middle School in Hopkinsville.

Grandparents of the bridegroom are Sherry Gresham of Hopkinsville, and the late Gayle Gresham, and Edwin and Kathleen Roeder of Hopkinsville.

John Edwin graduated from Hopkinsville High School in 2000, and graduated from Hopkinsville Community College in 2004, and is currently employed by Roeder Implement Co.

The wedding is scheduled for Saturday, May 21, 2005, at 1 p.m., at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 1698 Canton Road, west of Cadiz on old Highway 68/80. A reception will be held in Parish Hall following the wedding.

Invitations are being sent to out-of-town guests. All friends and relatives are invited.
