Jim Ricks and Rev. Jim Shuck officiated at the services. Burial followed in Milam Cemetery in Trigg County.
Mr. Langston died on Tuesday, April 12, 2005, at 5 p.m., at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah of natural causes.
Mr. Langston was born on December 20, 1929, in Paducah. He was the son of the late Wiley and Mary Bridges Stallons.
Mr. Langston was a retired mechanic, and a member of Dyers Chapel United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Adlene Cunningham Langston; and a brother, James Langston.
Survivors include three sisters-in-law, Lurline Stallons, and Pauline Finley, both of Cadiz, and Hilda Langston of Princeton; and several nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers were Ed Stallons, Roger Birdsong, Gary Minnick, Josh Birdsong, Bill Armour, and James Hughes.
